Fasting For Ramadan bonds Catholic, Muslim Friends

#25 of the 52 Things that I learned from 52 Weeks of worship states: “It is quite ok to believe one thing, and stand shoulder to shoulder with people who believe something else.”

Two women, Jordan Pahl, and Dahlia Bazzaz have learned this lesson, apparently. Their story of friendship and inter-faith sharing and understanding was one that I thought was worth reading. You can read the rest of the story at: Fasting For Ramadan bonds Catholic, Muslim Friends.

Another interesting perspective on this story can be found at: A Catholic Teenage Comes Under Fire for Fasting During Ramadan.
