So, I blazed through the last book club pick, and I really enjoyed it. It was the kind of book that I will have to use as a reference, however. Lots of great meditations and exercises to help you neutralize fear, stay in the moment and face your fears head on. I’m glad I made my way through it.
For the first My52WOW Book Club Pick for 2014, however, I am headed into some…dense territory. The new book is called Kabbalah for the Layman, by Rav Berg. After two days of my daily read, I must say this may be an intense one. It’s a large book, and so far, a bit heavy. But, Kabbalah is one worship practice that I was not able to experience in My First 52 Weeks, so I am interested to see what I missed.
Do any of you have experience with Kabbalah? I’d love to hear about it!
